Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Who We Are

NPOWERSKILLS SERVICES CANADA ("we," "us") is a Canadian business consulting company helping businesses use AI in their workflows and secure their data. This policy explains how we handle personal information on npowerskills.ca and in our communications, under Canada's PIPEDA (and applicable provincial privacy laws such as Quebec's Law 25 or the BC/Alberta PIPA).

2. What We Collect

  • When you book a free pre-consultation: name, email, phone number, company name, and anything you write in the booking notes.
  • When you contact us: whatever you share in a phone call or an email — usually your name and contact details. With your consent, we may use these details to contact you, follow up with you, and share our company promotions and marketing materials with you.
  • Automatically: basic technical data like IP address, browser type, and pages visited through cookies. We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking; if that changes, we'll update this policy.

3. Why We Use It

To respond to inquiries, book and run consultations, deliver and improve our AI and data security services, send service messages (like appointment confirmations), meet legal and accounting obligations, and keep our site secure. We collect only what we reasonably need.

4. Consent and Marketing Messages

We collect, use, and share personal information based on your consent (express or implied, as the law allows). You can withdraw it anytime — just contact us below.

We only send promotional emails or texts when we have the consent required under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing message tells you who it's from and how to unsubscribe, and we honour opt-outs as the law requires. Service messages — like a consultation confirmation — can still be sent when permitted.

5. Sharing

We never sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (booking, email, hosting, CRM, and other aspects of our business workflow) under confidentiality and security obligations, or where the law requires it.

6. Data Outside Canada

Your information may be stored or processed outside Canada (including the U.S.) by us or our providers, and could be accessible to authorities in those countries. We use contracts and safeguards to keep it protected.

7. Keeping It Safe and Deleting It

We use reasonable safeguards (access controls, secure systems, confidentiality duties) to protect your information, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Your Rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, withdraw consent, or raise a concern — just contact us.

9. Children

Our site is for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from kids under 13 (or 14 where provincial law sets a higher age).

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on npowerskills.ca with a new effective date.
